The lone star state
We went to check out the state capital it was modeled after the US capital. Though every lets you know it is 14 feet taller.
The enormous Texas history museum
We also took a 90 minute driving tour
Starting in downtown.
Then heading out to the hill country, as they call it.
Lake Austin. Which is actually a River
Back to Downtown Austin and the University of Texas Longhorn Stadium.
We had dinner at the Snack Bar next to the Motel again. This is our last night in Austin. Tomorrow we checkout and head to San Antonio.
